This class was very useful. I'm going to use infusion for the end of the year review for the final. This is a great tool and my middle schoolers are going to eat this up when I put the review up on my screen and they can use the iPad lab to answer the questions.
The creative commons license should be taught in several different subjects throughout the year. Next year I will review this information and copyright law with my students before they work on their science fair reports. I will definitely utilize my library specialist to teach a class on copyright. Students need to know which resources are creative commons so they know what sites they can use without copyright infringement (or less of a chance of copyright infringement).
The kidblog website is really tedious and quite time consuming. I have my students comment on our class web site, which they enjoy. Weebly does have restrictions on the blog content and I can delete posts that are not appropriate. I think that this blog is better for elementary school age children who would need a more restrictive internet environment than a higher level student in secondary or high school. I would not use kidblog for my class.
